Third map test of the day, with data scraped from Royal Canadian Legion website, massaged a bit and dropped into a Google Docs spreadsheet and then run through www.gpsvisualizer.com. I uploaded the resulting html file to my host’s server, and then called it in an iframe at the top of this post. (Requires free Google Maps API key.)

I’ll post more detailed info when I get a chance.

Update: This is very cool: even though this page is being delivered from an html doc on my host’s server, whatever changes I make to the Google doc spreadsheet are updating the map. If you click on the marker for South Vancouver, you’ll see I was able to add a photo (which is not, by the way, of the South Vancouver Legion), by adding a new column and an URL to the spreadsheet.
