I really should be Christmas shopping.
- I hear voices: Could in-skull advertising be the next big thing? With all the other noise in there, this is all I need.
- Why the City is wrong to be so bearish about media shares. Roy Greenslade sticks up for the share values of British newspaper companies. Like Roy, and others, I acknowledge that newspapers have their woes, but I think that investors are reacting more with emotion than thought.
- Newspapers falling in love with online video. The Telegraph announces its priority for 2008 is video. The speed with which newspapers have taken up video in a major way continues to amaze me.
- Is Homo Journalisticus too specialized to survive? Tom Abate’s is one of a series of posts (he links to others by Steve Outing and Mark Glaser) dealing with journalists’ lack of business sense and what that means in an age of media downsizing and the search for new media business models.
- Best Blogs of 2007 That You (Maybe) Aren’t Reading. Rex Sorgatz’s annual list of blogs that in most cases slip below the A-list radar. Lots there, on the widest possible range of subjects, to check out.
