- GateHouse Media set to buy 17 more papers. GateHouse gets bigger after its earlier, second-quarter purchases which were designed to increase cash flow. Morris, the seller, wants to concentrate on big markets and reduce its debt.
- There is no shelf. (There is no Page One.) Mindy McAdams “loves this video.” So do I.
- GIMP 2.4 Offers New Features, Improved Interface. The open source Photoshop replacement has been updated and improved. The interface is still icky, but the app just keeps getting stronger. Post contains a link to some video tutorials, as well.
