As you can see, I finally got the Google map building process I wrote about yesterday to work with WordPress. The solution turned out to be simple: a plug-in that stops WP from messing with Javascript inside a post. (This link downloads the .zip file.)

As for the map itself, which shows the coffee shops in my neighbourhood, it ain’t art, but there are great possibilities there for this process, which is relatively quick and painless. Note that my lats and longs are a little off for a few of the places. They’re not really in the middle of the roads. (Links and more details in yesterday’s post, with more information from helpful folks in the comments.)
