Wrapping up the work part of the week:
- Online Ad Rates Accelerate the Advertising Death Spiral. Not many of his commenters agree with him, but Scott Karp has another worthwhile and provocative post about the end of advertising.
- Get lost, eh!. Less than welcoming reaction to possible Canadian buyers for Philadelphia’s battered dailies and worries that it would lead to massive layoffs. (Disclosure: One partner in the bid is Black Press, a B.C.-based newspaper chain I worked for.)
