I’ve just spent an enjoyable half-hour poking through the works of five new-to-me photojournalists. They’re “new” because they’re (mostly) Portuguese.

I discovered the works of Adriano Miranda, David Clifford, Fernando Veludo, Gonçalo Santos and Pedro Melim through a post at António Granado’s Ponto Media, a reminder that there is a whole world out there that we can now be exposed to and inspired by.

António has links to the blogs or web sites of the photographers, who are all current or former shooters for the Lisbon daily Público. While their posts are primarily in Portuguese, the photos are, of course, universal and well worth checking out.
