A thought: photocasts should be possible.
By photocasts I mean the type of narrated or “sound-tracked” slideshows that are a staple of newspaper websites, but delivered through RSS to image-capable devices such as the new video iPods.
It seems to me it should be possible to build photocasts, with a branded container, in a program such as Flash, encode them as .mov files (or whatever format the video players support) and send ‘em out.
You wouldn’t have interactivity, but it would be another way of telling stories and delivering content.
