From the website of my local daily: Early morning fatal crash closes Highway 7.

I had to read that: my Significant Other drove Highway 7 this morning on her way to a meeting in the suburbs.

Some fact: Highway 7 is 149 kilometres long. It starts in the city and runs east through a number of heavily-populated suburbs before hitting smaller communities in the Fraser Valley. It is a heavily-travelled route, at least through the suburban and urban area.

But in the six-graf story, it is never states where on this 149-kilometre stretch of road the accident occurred and where it was closed. The only hint we get is that comments about the crash come from an RCMP constable in Agassiz, a small town located 12 kilometres from the eastern end of the highway.

Sheesh.
