Andrea Mitchell of NBC on Hardball, talking about Barack Obama’s tour of Afghanistan and Iraq:
He didn’t have reporters with him, he didn’t have a press pool, he didn’t do a press conference while he was on the ground in either Afghanistan or Iraq… you’re seeing selective pictures taken by the military, questions by the military, what some would call fake interviews. They’re not interviews from a journalist.
Am I parsing that correctly? Unless an interview comes from a journalist, it’s a fake interview?
