Covering DesiFest

DesiFest was a 10-hour extravaganza of south Asian singing and dancing, with hip-hop, singer-songwriters and infectious bhangra and Bollywood numbers, held yesterday here in Vancouver. The above captures highlights from about an hour of entertainment: it still needs a few tweaks, which I may get a chance to make later today, and I didn’t work it as hard as I should have photographically, but it’s another step forward in the learning process.
