Moving tomorrow so this may be it for a bit (or not):
- Now this is great: UC Berkeley & Craigslist endow a chair. A Craig Newmark chair of digital journalism? That’ll have a few folks setting their hair on fire. (Note: I have no idea if it will be called the Craig Newmark chair, but the sentiment holds.)
- Twelve Essential Photographic Rules. I tell my students to replace the word “rules” with “guidelines” in most cases. That said, this is a nice wrap-up of some guidelines to keep in mind.
- More and more tiny notebooks coming this year. I’m not sure I want a laptop with a seven- or nince-inch screen, but I can see the value for these out in the field, particularly as competition heats up and they gain more power.
- Italian ad revenues. Ad revenues up three per cent for the first 11 months of 2007. Compare and contrast. Unfortunately, there’s no link to the source of the numbers or any deep detail.
- Traditional Media Ready to Elevate the Conversation Online — with Moderation. Topic du jour at a number of sites, kicked off by this Mark Glaser report. See also Patrick Beeson.
- Angela Grant – Multimedia producer and blogger. Angela speaks! Rob Montgomery pushes his May Chicago multimedia training sessions with an MP3 interview of Angela. Some nice stuff here about learning video.
