Comments are back, at least temporarily. I’ve added the Recaptcha plug-in to my WordPress install, and am hoping that at least slows the comment spammer down a little.
Update: I’ve installed the Bad Behaviour plugin for WordPress and, in the four hours that it’s been running, Askimet hasn’t had to capture a single piece of comment spam. Bad Behaviour, meanwhile, reports that it has successfully interrupted more than 800 times by spam bots to access the blog. I’m not techy enough to know that that means, but that seems like an awfully larger number.
