I’m pretty much finished with redesigning the blog, not because I’ve done everything I wanted too, but because there are too many other demands on my time. This is one of those efforts that, for now, is good enough.
There’s nothing fancy about the new look. That’s deliberate. I wanted something minimal and straight-forward. Other than moving things around and opening up the page with more white space, most of the changes have been minor typographic tweaks.
The addition of the multimedia box in the top right isn’t to show off my stuff (well, at least not primarily). It’s to serve as a steady reminder that as well as writing about, studying and teaching this stuff, I need to get out more often and do some storytelling. I figure having to fill that box with stuff that isn’t old and stale will give me a little more incentive.
