I’m starting to think there should be penalties for organizations that deliberately misstate copyright rules, especially those that know better. Case in point: Ariel Katz at the University of Toronto law blog outs the education-licensing organization Access Copyright for its highly misleading statement of copyright that educators are required to use. Shame on them.
