A few things from the RSS reader you may find of interest:
- For my stuff, lots of $$ out of pocket. Angela Grant points to an evolving debate on whether those plunging into multimedia should buy their own gear or wait for the company to do so, and reveals her own equipment wish list.
- Two simple numbers. Mark Liberman at Language Log has a fairly simple (although a little hard to read for those of us without a science background) prescription for better science reporting.
- Should Newspapers Become Local Blog Networks? Some working journalists are likely to blow a gasket at what Scott Karp is suggesting but there’s a lot of sense in his proposal for restructuring the local media.
- Journalism needs new buzzword: interestnet? This, from Tom Abate, is one of those posts that’s going to keep me thinking all day.
