Just before 9 p.m. PDT, someone with a speakeasy.com account dropped by the site and became the 100,000th visitor to my blog since Sitemeter started tracking visits in mid-August 2004.
Yeah, I know some of you get that many hits an hour, and that the humble site visit and page view (a smidge over 140,000) are being abandoned as meaningful site metrics. Nevertheless, I feel pretty good about all those zeroes.
So thanks to those who drop by regularly and to all those who stumble on the site through Google and the such and stay to look around a little.
Congratulations! What a milestone. Much better than when my car rolled over 100,000 a couple months ago.
