There’s nothing special about the slideshow above, other than that it was put together in less than a minute using flickrSLiDR. It’s a three-step process: create a photo set at Flickr and copy the link; enter the link and a bit of other information in a form at the flickrSLiDR website and click “I can has slideshows?!”; paste the resulting code into a blog post or web site. Can the storytelling tools get any simpler?
(I chose the photoset from the 2004 Festival du Bois in Maillardville, B.C. not because it is photographically striking but because it’s one of the smaller sets I have at Flickr. The band is Les Gitans de Sarajevo from Montreal.)
