Here in Vancouver, Facebook has just started promoting its free classified ads over the past few days and this may be a more significant disruptor than I first thought. In the Vancouver network, there are already 801 ads posted.
UPDATE: Interesting. I just checked Facebook and in the 12 hours since I originally wrote the above post, the number of ads has grown to 1,026. That’s about 25 per cent growth.
