Angela Grant offers some advice for newspapers wondering how to get into video: Start with video now, figure it out along the way.

Mindy McAdams has put together three Flash Tutorials for the Complete Beginner. Good starting points and very nicely done.

In Newspaper video: watch TV burn, Andy Dickinson writes about the advantage newspapers have over TV on the web — if they’re quick enough to take it — and provides a very entertaining old newsreel all about journalism.

Finally, another piece of newspaper video by a guy who is emerging as one of my favourite visual journalists: Dai Sugano of the San Jose Mercury News. His report on the California Democratic convention is a great example of how newspapers can harness video.
