Interesting 36-minute video from Richard Hernandez at Multimedia Shooter about the dark art of video compression. Richard does a good job of explaining the hows and whys, and offers some tips based on his experiences. There’s also a wealth of links to his sources.
Thirty-six minutes is a little long, particularly when the only on-screen offerings are screenshots and text slides, but the information is solid. I watched it in three or four sittings over two days, which made it easier on the eyes (and the brain).
