I found these interesting:
- Covering Children & Trauma. The latest in the excellent series of publications by the Dart Centre for Journalism & Trauma helps reporters deal with children when covering traumatic events. Covers the trauma of both the children and the reporter.
- Best Blogs of 2006 that You (Maybe) Aren’t Reading. Rex Sorgatz points to 30 interesting blogs. I found two to add to the daily-read list.
- Why Newspapers Aren’t Dead. Time magazine writer Jermey Caplan wades in. Via Media Bistro.
- Toronto Sun layoffs. Canadian Journalist reports 16 editorial staff gone and 10 positions, currently vacant, are eliminated.
- 2006 Canadian Blog Awards. Interestingly, four of the five finalists in the best media blog category were connected with mainstream media.
