Whatever edge TV has had over newspapers has been wiped out by the web. The Liberal Party leadership convention has just wrapped up here in Canada and The Globe and Mail and National Post both had the headline up on its website well before the CBC. In fact, as I write this, the CBC headline is still “Dion ahead of Ignatieff after third ballot,” despite the fact final results, from the fourth ballot, were announced about 10 minutes ago.
