I don’t have much to add to either of these posts, but I think it’s important that anyone trying to come to terms what journalism is — and will be — reads them.
First is Jay Rosen’s The people formerly known as audience. And make sure you set aside enough time to read through the growing list of comments.
The second follows from Jay’s: It’s Andrew Cline’s The audience awakens to play the media game, in which he offers a refinement.
