Two indications that here in Britain I’m in a different newspaper culture:
- 1. When I went into a Tesco Express in Kensington at 7:30 this morning, there were half-a-dozen people standing around, waiting for their Sunday edition of their chosen daily.
- 2. Almost one-third of a 737 worth of people flying from London to Manchester were reading a newspaper.
