this is the key.
how do we find the audio/video we like?
i ask myself how i find good text blogs.
The answer is through other people.
as one of the creators of FireAnt, im trying to think of ways to help people find audio/video they never would know to look for.
The only answer i can think of is human filters.
connect people...subcribe to people who maintain great tags.
you have any solutions?
we can do anythign we want right now.

My 2 cents worth...

Media companies need to look to facilitating content provided by "online communities" not providing content to "readers".
Passive readers are now interactive and opinionated - Baby Boomers may have been passive consumers of TV and magazines but Gen Y and beyond won't be.!
Offline publications can integrate online forum discussions and debates and vice versa.
Multiblogs provide you with the cyberlayout table to edit your own online, automated updated newspaper.
(Not writing anymore cos this field scrolls off the screen :( )

...and now I've spent it :(

I believe the new media, aka, blogs and wikies have the power to dessiminate information far swiftly than the convential media.

I have done a test by setting up www.pakquake.com - It took me 7 hours to set it up with all the customizations etc and it got ciruclated across the blogosphere in 4-5 hours, which is quite amazing.
