During the provincial election here in B.C. I’d like one of these please.

The Guardian’s election blog is a great model for someone here in Vancouver to jump on: multiple voices, categories that cover all the aspects of the campaign, comments, RSS feeds, blogwatch that tracks headlines outside the site.

Ian King’s Terminal City election watch blog comes close but as talented a journalist as he may, he can’t cover the election alone. An Observer-style blog would seem to be a natural for the Sun, Province or Victoria Times-Colonist but given their lack of web site interactivity, and the fact almost everything at their sites is behind a pay-wall, I won’t hold my breath.
