And so this is Dose. I came across this prototype of Dose, scheduled for launch here in Vancouver and in four other Canadian cities on Monday, lying on top of a news bin outside a local electronics store. I figure it’s either a sales rep’s sample that got away, or a stealth marketing campaign. Either way, this is what the prototype of Dose, the third free tabloid launched here in the last four weeks, looks like. Shown are the front page and a couple of inside pages. (Sorry about the reproduction: I just snapped photos with my digital. The sticker on the front page reads: Protoype. Not for distribution)
TECHNORATI TAGS: DOSE, DAILY NEWSPAPER, VANCOUVER

It certainly looks more professional, as George already mentioned. However, it also looks kind of like the Province.
Now that is more like it. That is a really cool looking paper Mark. I have to give
major props to the designers of Dose because it happens to look a lot more professional
than 24 and Metro combined, plus it loks like it might actually have some sort of content.
This paper might be the one that, if it wasn’t free, I’d be willing to pay for it for the
first few issues just to see if the content matches style. Again, big props up to dose for
designing a good looking paper and hoping that its content matches it (somewhat).
