An odd thing about the 2005 Bloggies, the fifth annual Weblog Awards: all five of the nominees for Best Asian blog are in English, as are three of the five nominees for Best European blog (the category doesn’t include United Kingdom or Ireland). In the best Latin American blog category two are in English, two in Portuguese and one is bilingual.
Is Blog World the preserve of English speakers/writers? Are the Webbies?
